I bring several orientations to how I work as a therapist.

As a relational psychoanalyst, I listen for patterns that you may wish to change. These patterns might present as relational dynamics, moods, or compulsions. By exploring past and current experiences as well as the here and now of our sessions, new ways of being become possible, practiced, and integrated.

As a social worker, I am interested in the variety of your formation and identity. The visible and invisible, the big and small of your biology and neurology, social and cultural context, as well as early familial relationships. Often, these under-explored components of identity - their intersection and related feelings - can lead to a fixed or stuck quality that benefits from processing.

Prior to social work and psychotherapy, I worked in the contemporary art world in both creative and business aspects of the industry. This experience informs my attention to the interplay of creativity, capitalism, ambition, and the nuances of organizational dynamics.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, a Master of Social Work from New York University, and completed advanced training in relational psychoanalysis at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.
